Things to do in Barbados
Barbados is, undoubtedly, a paradise. Most hotels and resorts on the West Coast have access to paddle boards and kayaks for you to take out on the water. This is also a fantastic way to spot other areas along the coastline you may wish to visit later in your holiday.
Barbados is famed for its crystal clear waters and diverse marine wildlife, so this is your perfect chance to get up close and personal with the residents of the island’s waters. Grab a snorkel and head out into the water from any of the beaches for a turtle’s eye view of the water.

Barbados has plenty to offer by way of bars and restaurants, but if you really want to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the local culture, you should head to Oistins Fish Fry. Every Friday, the small village of Oistin is alive with colour and music, with live entertainment and dancing into the early hours. Enjoy freshly cooked fish, prepared by one of the many stallholders and, of course, sample one (or several) of the many varieties of rum punch on offer.
